By participating in a collaborative project, which was guided by Peter Hall, an art critic for Metropolis magazine, I learned the importance of listening, accepting and trying new techniques. My group aimed to bring awareness and appreciation to the custodial staff on the RISD campus with a two day invasion that involved the application of a typographic system on various items, including sponges and paper towels, and through different methods, such as tape lettering and stencils.
