large posters

The juxtaposition of colorful, geometric shapes with the imagery creates an elegant and graphic solution while the elimination of excess information makes the poster more intriguing to the viewer thus creating a collectable item. The treatment of the type becomes extremely important and should be the main focus in future designs—the title must be strong and extend beyond the edge of a graphic form and the date information should remain as a graphic element. The placement of the FBP logo should be within a white, graphic shape that rests in a top or bottom corner. Secondary information, such as performance location and ticket information, should receive a corresponding color to the imagery.
These posters are meant to be displayed at the location of each performance, with the intention of bringing attention to the show. As these are meant to be seen from afar or up close, information is limited to the bare essentials.
